Editorial Policy & Authorship
The Quely editorial team publishes practical guidance about product and engineering work, asynchronous collaboration, estimation, planning, delivery context, and the systems teams use to coordinate that work.
This page explains who is responsible for that content, how articles are reviewed, and how readers can request a correction.
Who Writes and Reviews Quely Articles
Articles credited to The Quely Team are produced and reviewed by Quely’s editorial team. The team combines first-party knowledge of Quely with research from product documentation, standards bodies, academic work, vendor sources, and practitioner material where appropriate.
Quely product descriptions must follow the current product model: Spaces, Queue, Work Units, Context Units, Orbit, Signals, Lenses, and Ownership. Estimation, sprint planning, capacity, Jira workflows, and asynchronous collaboration may be discussed as supported workflows; they are not presented as Quely’s complete product identity.
Research and Source Standards
- Prefer primary or authoritative sources for factual, technical, and statistical claims.
- Identify vendor-sponsored surveys and case studies so readers can judge the evidence.
- Link to sources close to the claim they support.
- Avoid universal benchmarks when the result depends on team size, workflow, compensation, product tier, or local conditions.
- Verify time-sensitive product availability, pricing, integrations, and marketplace details before publication or substantive updates.
Product Comparisons
Quely may appear in articles that compare tools or workflows. Those comparisons should distinguish Quely’s connected work-intelligence model from dedicated scheduling, timesheet, meeting-recording, standup-bot, voting, or portfolio-finance products. We do not fabricate rankings, prices, review scores, or customer results.
Use of Automated Tools
Automated tools may assist research, organization, drafting, or quality checks. A human reviewer remains responsible for the published claims, sources, product terminology, and final editorial judgment. Generated material is not treated as a source of fact.
Updates and Corrections
The original publication date remains attached to each article. A date modified value is added only after a substantive change, such as correcting product positioning, replacing weak evidence, updating a dated comparison, or materially improving the guidance.
We correct unsupported or outdated claims rather than silently preserving them. Useful articles are not deleted solely because an older Quely description needs to be reframed.
